And as for the f-bomb, these guys, especially Aaron, are pretty level-headed with their faith, so hearing a f-bomb dropped didn’t shock me. Aaron has stated before that he could care less as long as it’s not aimed at the wrong audience (a group of children) and I’m pretty sure they are well aware of the maturity and age of their current fan base.
Really enjoyed it and have high hopes for the album. I feel like Underoath always throws everyone off the scent with their first released song. Remember when "Salmarnir" dropped? Or even when they released "Illuminator"? Knowing this band, there's going to be a lot to dig into when the full album is out. Honestly, the singles are rarely my favorites of theirs.
Meh. It was ok, but nothing too exciting. Still wish they would've just stayed with Spencer singing only.
I’ll have to see all of the lyrics in context. The part about them being stabbed in the back makes it sound like it’s against what another individual believes and does.
When the chorus hit I thought linkin Park. Which probably isn’t the best thing to come to mind. The song is fine but I do hope this is bottom tier for the record.
Very industrial. I think it’s just ok. Hopefully it will grow on me- still preordering the record as soon as it goes up.
Also it sort of sounds like sleepwave with screaming. We will see, I listened 3 times I may not go back until I have the album.
Thats what it sounds like- Sleepwave with screaming. Damnit. I hope that isn’t what the whole record comes out sounding.
