I tried variant collecting for Coheed once, it was incredibly fun, but so, so expensive.

Mae (go figure) is the only band that I tried to do this with. But after the 6th pressing of DB I gave up.

 

Nice!! I have some friends in Riverside so I know that area pretty well. Huntington Beach is also really chill too! One of my friends moved there from San Diego (I also lived in San Diego for about a year and a half as well back in 2009/2010) and loves it.

The Mexican food in Southern California is so much better than up north. It makes me sad lol

 

Someone earlier posted a pic of the tour variant vinyl, and you can zoom in on the pic and read most of the lyrics on the sleeve. I’m shocked nobody else seems to have seen it or commented on it haha

After a quick read through I think rapture are my favorite

 

I, for one, welcome these lyrics of religious struggle. Faith is a personal thing and I love hearing how it has affected them back then and now. I'm a catholic and I don't mind harsh language. It is just music after all.

wow I just got super excited for this reading some of those lyrics. don't want to spoil it too much but they seem super intense and personal. need this record, thank got it isnt' a long roll out. ONE MONTH

 

oh my, I just remembered 14 year old me thinking I was a badass for learning how to play the intro to The Last on guitar, hahaha

 

It was Rock Band 2 free DLC. Not ashamed of how much I played it.

 

Lyrics are dark as hell and I’m loving it

 

Lyrics about struggling with faith are among my favorite, being someone that grew up religiously and fell out of it. Definitely here for it.

 

I can definitely relate, I actually used Some Seek Forgiveness in some sort of devotional/presentation at a youth group retreat once. Anyway, I never really struggled the way that the band seems to have, but I certainly fell out of it once I graduated high school

Honestly that’s p cool they’re touring with DGD, and it makes sense. Esp since DGD was definitely influenced by Underoath.

 

New DGD album should be solid too. Just like all their albums minus the ones with JC
