I’m a huge DGD fan, definitely an unexpected choice for this though haha. I for one am extremely excited for it.

 

I cannot get into DGD beyond a handful of songs. I enjoy them musicalot though

As bad as mess is will swan was much worse on vocals

 

worse on vocals, maybe, but i liked the songwriting far more. i know mess takes a very important part in that

 

the songwriting isnt significantly different i dont think and im pretty sure its mostly will and always has been

 

Love DGD and UØ. This is a dream tour for me. Hoping for a D.C. or Bmore date.

 

the saosin songs with tillian on vocals are awesome.

 

no way it's dc, there's no venue they'd play there. it'll either be the fillmore or rams head, my money's on rams head

I always loop Fillmore into D.C. but yeah. Saw UØ at Fillmore last time so fingers crossed because that's Uber and metro accessible for me.

Meh. Never did like DGD or any of the other bands rumored to be tagging along.

 

feel like fillmore would be too small based off these other 2 leaked dates. unless if they do 2 nights. fillmore sold out for rebirth tour

 

Anthem is similar capacity to Bethlehem Sands. Saw blink play there. Can't imagine UØ at Anthem though...

Just hope we get a date in that area. Seems like they don't have many dates with all the festivals and such.

 

Didn’t every Rebirth date sell out like months before? At least the Charlotte date I went to did.

 

Couple things:

The whole "Christian metalcore" thing was a pretty big movement, and at least down south, if you were a Christian metalcore band it was easier trying to book shows at local churches, which worked well for up and coming bands. Underoath, Norma Jean, Showbread, August Burns Red, etc, all were big players in that, and I would really guess if they started writing music today, they would not call themselves a christian band. I'm not questioning the individual member's faith, but I definitely think a lot of that was riding coattails to play churches, get signed to tooth and nail/ solid state, and profit.

 

This wait is killing me, gonna do something productive and clean my apartment. Hopefully they’ll be a date near me, Richmond or Norfolk.

 

Also I wonder what the set list will be with the new album / will they play much off of Ø

 

where else in the area would they play? they aren't an anthem sort of band

also the rebirth tour was them playing the albums people want to hear

 

okay the other 2 venues leaked are 1200 and 1600. my guess is fillmore on may 5th

 

I think my first post on AP was when Haste the Day (I think) kicked someone out for not being a Christian anymore.

No it wasn't my first post but it was my first argument.

 

I'm pretty sure HTD also started cussing on later albums. That might've been after they switched vocalists though.

 

They kicked the dude out after switching vocalists too.

They chilled out around the turn of the decade, when they did that show/album thing with all the old members and new members.
