right, absolutely. end of the day it’s still a single. it’s not like paper lung was super sludgy and look how Disambiguation turned out.

 

that wasn't the first single from disambiguation. I thought the first single was illuminator

 

I hear it but name a linkin park song with those types of drums ha. I guess its combination of what makes underoath great with Radiorock which isn't terrible. They are trying to do something different,use different chord progressions and what not. Hope the whole album has a variety of sounds.

 

Am I the only one that loves the variation in the chorus that Aaron brings? I am all for Aaron and Spencer trading clean vocals back and forth, give me more of that please.

 

Same here. And I’ve always preferred Aaron’s voice over Spencer’s but Spencer really sounds great here

Wow I love this. Drums are on point and I love the trading off of vocals. Hype meter just went through the roof for this. And not that there's probably at on of overlap with the fan bases, but TWY and Underoath on the same day? What did I do to receive such blessings?

 

I love when they trade vox, I still think it doesn't work super well here.

Also, this is like the perfect rollout window I think. Maybe a week less, but not too terrible.

 

Going back and listening I hear i a lot now.

But you can hear that Spencer wasn't trying to sound too different which is why some people probably can tell there's two (clean) vocalists.

 

6 weeks. Even if it leaks I think I'll still wait for release day. Haven't been this excited in a long time. Feels good.

 

The fact this this song is not the opener makes me very excited to hear the opener.

 

Only 25 of the black deluxe left. Also, they raised the price to $68 now. What a joke.

No. Very shitty business practice. They’ve raised the price 5 different times now.

 

My expectations are super high since UO openers are usually phenomenal.

 

It feels like a strange mixture of earlybird Kickstarter rewards (which is cool) and scalpers on eBay (which is a dick move). Kinda more of the latter to be honest.

 

Thats super shitty of them. Its one thing for resellers to up the price after release, but for the label/merchnow/band to more than double the price during pre-orders makes zero sense. I paid $45 for that deluxe package and that was still too much..... Over $70 after shipping is a joke

 

Bands don't dictate their pricing indexes, unless it's DIY. That's what merch companies are contracted out for...MerchNow is being really sketchy with that black deluxe. Doesn't make any sense, besides the traditional scalper assumption that someone will pay for a higher total as the quantity becomes more limited.

 

Even worse is they already canceled one person’s $30 order - and the customer service lady said the other people who also ordered at that price will more than likely have their orders canceled on the next few weeks OR right before it ships out. Imagine having your order canceled right before it’s supposed to ship and then everything is sold out.

 

Merch Now has always sucked, but this is low even for them

 

I've tweeted them and tagged Underoath as well as Fearless. Also sent an email to Fearless regarding the issue.

Might not amount to much, but I feel like I'm doing my part, ha.

 

i cant imagine theyll let this fly without making it up to people who get fucked over
