As much as I love my picture disk the sound quality leaves much to be desired. If the clear wasn’t so damn expensive second hand I would’ve definitely picked it up.
I understand why one might not like bloodlust given the song structure but it’s easily one of my favorites, that chorus is one of their absolute best.
Yeah I like Bloodlust. I still like this album a lot. I hope they keep with the direction, but incorporate more of their heavy signature sound.
Wake Me and Bloodlust are the only two songs I don't really enjoy on this otherwise absolutely solid record.
Haha I love Wake Up. For me it just sounds like a better version of Rapture, which I think both should be spaced out a bit more on the album tracklist. Everything about it is so catchy from the moment the music kicks in, all the synth, and both chorus and verses get me. Bloodlust has a killer bridge, but I don't dig the repetitive chorus too much.
Wake Me is definitely the weakest song and it’s also horribly placed too. If you play On My Teeth and have it lead into Bloodlust - it just sounds better.
It's hard to just pick 4 favorites.......but I'd probably go On My Teeth, In Motion (god that bridge), It Has to Start Somewhere and Hold Your Breath.
Gonna toss my hat in and say Lonliness is being overlooked but should’ve been on the actual album. Hell, maybe even a single.
Bloodlust is definitely the weakest track on the album but I don't hate it And yes Lonliness should have absolutely been on the album
Swap out Wake Me with Loneliness and you got a better record. Loneliness is a little over repetitive.. but still better than Wake Me.
I swear I’m able to lift 50 more pounds when Spencer screams “DON’T. MAKE. ME. SWALLOW. MY. TOUNGUE.”
