Yeah I'll defend Erase Me a ton and say it's great but I cant defend this. This would have been considered not good even when dubstep was big. Now it's just...oof.
Goodness, we get it, you aren't Christian anymore, stop trying so hard. (this is bad beyond lyrical content)
Spencer's vocals are grating and that drop takes me back to 2012 when every other song got a dubstep remix on soundcloud, what the hell were they thinking?
At this rate I do have to agree with this too. Hopefully they're getting it all out of their system this album cycle and will explore other territory after.
I feel like the rhythm guitarist and bassist are in this for the checks. not that I blame them at all.
Spencer was definitely all in, I’d guess everyone else aside from maybe Chris was skeptical. I mean, given it’s a one off collab and not a proper release I’m not particularly offended. For what it’s worth I think 0:35-0:54 is cool.
The fact that they are playing ‘A Fault Line, A Fault of Mine’ has be borderline purchasing a ticket.
I think everything up to the drop is pretty cool, and than from there on just ruins the whole song for me. But like you said, it's just a one off collab thing. More than likely they wont be making dubstep albums (hopefully)
Effff gonna have to not visit this forum for a while to avoid setlist spoilers. 18 songs last night? Not complaining, but didn't Spencer mention they'd be playing the most songs of any tour they've done?
