I’ve always been fascinated by the over-produced tags certain albums get.

 

Yea, it’s always been weird to me that people don’t like an album bc it sounds good

 

How are some of the most personal if not the most personal lyrics Spencer has ever written weightless?

 

Haven’t had a chance to listen yet but Tim is on the latest episode of the Break it Down podcast. Most of the interviews so far have been Spencer/Aaron so it might be a fresh take.

Happy to report I’m still listening 2-3x per day. The chorus of bloodlust is one of their best ever. Bridge slays too. Album kicks ass. Long live uo.

 

Yo this was amazing, Tim is always so enthusiastic lol it's great. Talks a lot about the album process. Basically said Fearless gave them a blank check and had faith in them lol

 

Great episode. I was tickled at the bit about when referencing the band's respective personalities and issues with cohesion they had previously experienced, Matt Squire let Tim know on a one-on-one call that he has a degree in Psychology.

Had no idea that Tim and Nate Young from Anberlin are brothers-in-law, that was fun to find out.

 

Good for them. Much deserved. It’s a shame they have a bunch of trolls for “fans” who are shitting on them in the comments section. Regardless, I’m sure they are more than happy right now and that makes me happy.

 

“Bloodlust” went from being a song I enjoyed the least to one of my favorites on the record.

Didn’t see that one coming.

 

This is prob the most internally controversial album I have listened to in a long time.

I am constantly bitching about one part of a song...while also listening to the album 3 times a day.

 

I haven't listened to this again since it officially came out. I might try it again

 

Literally had In Motion, and I Gave Up playing in my head yesterday while I was working.

This record really crept up on me.

 

Excellent way to put what I’ve been feeling.

 

I feel like we're at that part of the Underoath album cycle where everyone realizes the album doesn't really suck. Next stop: "the album is great!"

 

I didn't realize Disambiguation didn't suck until this year, so I'm ahead of schedule.

 

this is a ridiculous, and probably willful, misreading of what overproduced means

 

this album does suck and its not great

 

i thought this album had good production on my speakers at home but i tried it out in the car and it sounds like complete and total shit on those speakers

ihateit might be a top 5 UØ track for me, mainly the bridge alone.

 

Who wants to take bets on how many more times sophos wanders back into this thread to state how this albums sucks
