I'm sure most of you grew up listening to Thrice (I didn't), but I'm finding their latest album to be my favorite. Also, I can't really get into anything by Converge except "The Dusk In Us." I don't really understand the love for 'Jane Doe'

 

What does any of that have to do with Erase Me? Did you just start listening to Converge or something?

 

Erase Me has been out for a week now, chill

 

What the hell are even you talking about haha. What does how long it’s been out have to do with anything? And what part of my post made it seem like I was upset or not ‘chill’ in any way?

 

Lol my bad I thought you were upset that I deviated from talking about Erase Me. I saw people talking about Thrice a few pages back & hadn't checked them or in a while & was wondering what others opinions were on their latest album. And converge came from me looking up metacritic scores for hardcore/metal albums and seeing how much praise it got.

 

I love all thrice albums

 

Underoath, Story of the Year, Senses Fail, and Silverstein would be a great tour.

I hated the new record but then listened to it three more times and now I love the record :)

 

I wish more people would do that. not saying it would sway everyone.. but I think if people could accept the album for what it is they would find it enjoyable. But im also not surprised that fans of disambiguation hate this, these albums are polar opposites as far as I'm concerned.

 

Honestly, it might be my least favorite Underoath record and I was only able to find a way to love it by readjusting my expectations. Not the explosive headbanger of a record I was hoping for but it's still very nice to listen to.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but I'm feeling similar vibes to when BMTH released their last record.

I think this is the first time I've seen someone say something negative about Converge

 

I listened to converge once or twice. Those guys are going places.

 

Yea they're up and coming, I think they can really break out soon

 

I can’t get enough of this album

 

Anybody got those first week sales?
