Hold Your Breath is a certified grower. One of my favorites now and has the best chorus hands down on the record.. It's like the perfect mix of old with the new sound they were going for.
I don't workout but if I did I don't think I'd ever listen to anything but artist and the ambulance when I did
I haven’t gone to the gym in a while but when I went I’d listen to Artist, Disambiguation, and Leviathan almost exclusively.
oh shit I'd definitely get my swole on to once more round the sun. Now there's a masterful radio rock album
Definitely got a nice boost on the treadmill today as No Frame was wrapping up. Also still listening to this 1-2x/day
smh I've been listening to it for over a decade and I still accidentally call it artist and the ambulance sometimes lol
Yo if underoath really wants to go all in with the heavy rock crowd they need to get on a tour with mastodon. That'd be sick
I still wanna know what david Bendeth thinks of this album. Dude told them they couldn't write hits like Nickelback. Tim looked like he was going to fire the dude right then and there from recording the rest of LITSOS with them lol.
I didn’t know they were ever going to record with David Bendeth haha... guess I need to watch the LITSOS documentary!
Just saw a video with Spencer that mentioned his favorite songs from Underoath are In Regards To Myself, Emergency Broadcast and Illuminator. Then he threw in The Wolf
That's who they recorded LITSOS with (him and I think they did some stuff with Goldman too), but the last 15 minutes are hilarious cause they show the argument & Tim is not having it lol. If you YouTube the documentary it comes up.
Oh shit, really? I thought they recorded with him too. My b, so I guess they recorded with Adam D and Goldman, then got it mixed by Bendeth. But the last 15 minutes are them with bendeth, and the conversations are great because they have such different views on music and the industry lol. Bendeth said he would always stir the pot and tell them they need to write hits, and that they can't write hits.
Bloodlust frustrates me. The verses and bridge are stellar, and then there's the chorus. Finding that a lot with this album, sections of songs not clicking.
Maybe this is just me but that intro/chorus melody to In Motion reminds me a LOT of the opening credits to The IT Crowd.
