I really hope Underoath gains a bunch of new fans with this record so they can continue as a band and make more records. I only say this because I, unfortunately, see them losing a good chunk of fans with this record.
Totally. I think they should release the documentary for free at some point since it provides so much insight into the songs that you can't help but appreciate them more.
Yeah, but Rapture is charting really well for them, and there is still lots of hype. They are definitely picking up new fans.
Yeah I agree, I'm sure it will find its way to YouTube eventually. It was really well done. It was a little odd not seeing Grant or James, even that was reflected how the album was made. I loved Tim's line about the closer "at this point I'm piano'd out."
I am still putting this on, only switching it out with Sister Cities. I hope they announce more tour dates soon, cause I would love to go to a show and stand in the back like an old guy.
I have them but I'm away from my computer. I sent the email to a lot of people on here. Can anyone forward him the email??

Yeah, this part was great. I definitely like I Gave Up a lot more now seeing the passion they put into it. Having said that the raw demo with Aaron singing sounded 10x better than the album version.
It's perfectly reasonable to want cash for your music. I thought this band was into the art side of things. This doesn't have the art side. I believe that comes across very obviously in the music throughout every single track. If you enjoy this, I hope you do. This is not what I came to this band for, and it's honestly a bummer. It sounds to me like it was made for the Shinedown, Trapt and Breaking Benjamin crowd set. If that's what they are going for, then more power to them. I hope they get radio time and on those tours if that is in fact what they want/need for their families at this juncture. It's a strange, digression of an album.
Just got home to find a box with just the hoodie, wall flag, and enamel pins in it. No vinyl.. did it get delayed and I didn’t know about it or maybe it’ll ship separately? I want my /300 vinyl, dammit!!
I think it’s a false choice between art and money and I think “art” by and large is subjective. I think the synth in this is incredible, for example. I think (to start) “In Frame” and “Hold Your Breath” contain artistic melody, choice, and intent. So I disagree with the premise of your argument and the conclusion.
This is what I got; “Hello There, We would like to thank you for your purchase of Underoath's Erase Me Deluxe Vinyl! These items were originally scheduled to be shipped prior to the release date of April 6th, however we've just been informed that there is a delay in production. We have been in contact with their label and have been told to expect both the black and white variants near the end of April. In order to prevent any delay in receiving the remaining items in your order, we'll have the deluxe vinyl shipped separately to you once they arrive in house.” Super bummed but hopefully it comes in soon.
After first listen..... this is a lot different than I expected. I'm still on board though. It definitely had some good qualities about it and some of the hooks were great(Like how On My Teeth got lodged in my brain). Can't wait to invest more time this weekend.
Went to target just for the bonus tracks and way worth it. Loneliness is insanely good and the lyrics are the best on the album I think. Another Life is also lyrically good and while the chorus is just ok I love the rest; it’s like what wake me was supposed to be.
Loneliness could have been the first single for this album. Holy crap there's your DTGL/LITSOS feels in my opinion
