I think this will be the 4th different vinyl copy I ordered and I'm about to go to target to pick up the cd. I might have a problem....
I've just realized that even if I were to get the Target copy for the bonus tracks, I have literally zero way of listening to it outside of my car or my old PS2 lol.
I have to say I can't think of another album in recent memory that's had more variants on the release date than this one. The release-date exclusive is like a cherry on top of a vinyl cake. With that said, I got the standard green pressing as well as the 7-inch set. I think that's enough for me.
Just ordered that new variant. I think this may be the first record I think I’ve ever owned two copies of.
I asked my roommates if they have a CD player haha one has an external cd drive so with that I’m off to target. Also, I’m fanboy-ing hard today
Nice, that works! My roommate is my girlfriend and we share my MacBook unfortunately :P That's a dope shirt! I want one.
I really hope we'll get some proshot festival footage this summer. Doesn't Reading & Leeds usually film their festival performances?
Towards the end of the documentary when they give a detailed look at them writing and recording, "I Gave Up," is fucking awesome.
Btw, someone one the comment section of the underoath erase me thread on kingdom-leaks.com posted a link to where you can download the documentary, it's available for like 8 days. It's on page 6 of that thread
End of the documentary plays the chorus to Bloodlust without vocals and there is tons of guitar work on it from Tim that sounds really dope, but pretty difficult to hear with the vocals laid over the track
Were DTGL and LITSOS not written mainly by Tim while Spencer was the main writer for Disambiguation. I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve heard for a while. I don’t have any album inserts to back this up.
I've liked every record less and less after METN. That record is perfect and raw. I can't get into overproduced manchester. METN changed my life when I heard it. I never listened to any indie music before that. I just feel like the newer stuff is more status quo and boring. It's really tame. I think a lot of it is related to the production, because when I saw videos of Cope songs live, I thought it slayed, but the recording was very reeled in tame in comparison. It's probably because they haven't recorded live since METN. They did on LAVLAC too and I love that as well.
