On AP.net? Not at all. The review comments were insane when we gave it a 96%. I think @Drew Beringer reviewed it and loved it and people lost their minds.
Listened to this on the way to take a midterm. I think I did really well, and owe some of it in part to this album.
Seems like you should be the one to leave a thread about an album that you don't like, as opposed to those who want to discuss it?
No tears here. You seem more upset about it all to go as far as to compare this band to Kanye West lol
There's over 300 posts on that Disambiguation review. Some samples: - The worst thing the band's ever done. - sounds like demos - lol - creed make better music - wtf did they do - that album cover sucks
Was that before the record leaked? I didn't pay too much attention to the review threads because they were incredibly toxic. But from the album thread people that listened to it, it seemed to be well received. I do think there was a lot of "No Aaron, not listening" too.
lol the meme was more in jest cause your outrage was kind of comical, but you can continue to be a dick. I could care less if you like the album or not, but your comment was very unproductive to prove your point that you don't like it and the reasoning why.
The album thread was positive the review thread suffered from the same fate that all the news posts did, really shitty people posting there, most of who didn't listen to the album
Only thing I have to slightly agree with. I think the mix on this isn't half as good a LITSOS. But that's one of my favorite mixes of all time. I constantly go back and forth among DTGL, LITSOS, and Disambiguation on which is the best. What it really comes down to is the emo part of the band started dying on LITSOS and it's all but gone on Disambiguation. If you only liked that aspect than you wouldn't like it. Disambiguation is definitely the most complex record they made. I don't know if that means it's the best, but it is damn good. I normally sit with like LITSOS best because it hits the happy medium. Chasing Safety is an insanely fun record and probably the best of the pop screamo era, but DTGL-O are honestly like nothing else before them and break all the rules. People were just salty over Aaron leaving and didn't want to admit that Daniel is a better drummer.
And telling someone to leave the thread because they don't love an album isn't acting like a child and a dick? Priorities.
