Hello everyone!! This is not a real release, I am working on some new tracks for a live performance in a small dawless jam. I am using only 3 synths: MC-202, SE-02 and Blofeld. I would like to get in touch with other people who love techno music made live with synths and drum machines. Enjoy!
I'm enjoying the current resurgence of jungle and DnB. Discovered a load of good stuff recently, 4AM Kru and Tim Reaper being the main two. Both put out really good albums this year... Nia Archives album is also really good and definitely deserves to be discussed in here (if it hasn't already)
If anyone is interested, there's a great doc on Netflix at the moment called The Evolution of Black British Music. It has episodes on jungle, garage, grime and UK funky amongst a few others. Really interesting watch and talk to some of the originators of each genre. Definitely recommend it.
Yeah that Nia Archives album has been on rotation since it came out. I got big into those genres the past few years as well so I'll have to check out that doc.

Hi dance fam. I want to plug our lovely forum’s “album of the week” thread. It works like a book or film club but for albums. We switch every week. They usually rule and we get some great, often obscure, picks. Hoping to get more discussion there (and always seeking more electronic/dance/weird shit) so if you’re interested, feel free to join and say hi. Chorus.fm Record of the Week Club • forum.chorus.fm
I just was coming here to recommend this and I made a thread for it aya - Hexed! (March 28, 2025) • forum.chorus.fm Pitchfork gave it a 9.0 aya: hexed!
Has anyone ever been to a Boiler Room before? Are they fun? What’s the vibe like if you’re actually there?
