Damn, I thought he was done releasing stuff under the Actress alias. Will have to give that a listen.

 

He announced a proper album called Karma and Desire last summer and it’s finally coming out in October

Damn, is all of their stuff like that? A jazz/footwork hybrid is RIGHT up my street!

 

It's definitely a sustained vibe throughout the record, so if you like those you'd probably like the whole thing. It treads into some more ambient, lounge territory too.

It's the first record from Basinski's new duo with Preston Wendel (who I think is/was one of his studio assistants?)

 

Been digging a lot of early 90 acid house/IDM recently. LFO’s first album is so good.

 

Yeah, this album is fucking great. Gonna be listening to this a lot.

Had a skim through, definitely a mixture of all his various phases. Brief but fun.

 

Just played through the HudMo thing, it’s a wild ride. Some real weirdo stuff in there. I dig it.

 

First listen was really enjoyable!

Really feeling the new Romare, Heaven in particular is great

 

New Murlo

 

New Marie Davidson project with her husband and another collaborator. It’s less overtly dance music than her solo albums but it still grooves. This is actually one of my favourite tracks she’s put out. Record out September 25.

 

Not sure if it fits but I’m obsessed with the newest Hotel Pools album. Also listening to a lot of brothertiger
