Honestly didn’t realize this was finally his debut album lol. I saw him like 5 years ago at a fest and he really works in that setting but idk if it’s worth much beyond that for me

 

He came to some nightclub here last year but it was a Monday and I lived an hour outside the city at the time lol. But I would imagine you are right! I think he would work best in the singles format as well.

These seem like the right picks for trying to sell anyone on the label’s significance, though I’d probably swap Evian Christ releases for the Waterfall EP.

feels weird not seeing Balam Acab or Holy Other on there but I get they can’t include everything

im gonna do a listen through of their catalog starting now, so much great stuff. also that list is weird, mainly there not being any balam acab, hes as essential as it gets when it comes to that label.

Also, went back to that new Lorenzo Senni the other day, this time on headphones, and it rules.

 

I really enjoy what I heard of the Lorenzo Senni album, but I need to be in the right mood for it.

 

Need some recs. Been listening to a lot of stuff like Moodymann and Theo Parrish and Kyle Hall recently and need some more stuff in a similar vein. Any kind of jazzy, soulful, dirty sounding house recs, throw them my way! Ideally without vocals too.
