Does anyone have any favorite blogs for finding new music? I'm working on a project making smart spotify playlists based on blog posts. as a test, i got all the release info for almost all releases this year that nodata.tv has shared.
I use nodata and Glory Beats, the latter is a mixed bag that takes some wading through but they post most of the good club/house/techno releases
I made a techno playlist based on all glorybeats posts since march. glory_beats_techno, a playlist by Xristos Katsaros on Spotify Eventually I'll get enough genre data to create an AI model that matches genres together be frequency of their pairs. Thinking of other ways to curate playlists so feel free to shoot ideas my way.

I've liked Kleins other stuff shes done as i'm a sucker for anyone that releases something on Hyperdub. But that Matana Roberts feature has piqued my interest even more, that's for sure.
Glad you like it! I made one for nodata as well. no_data_techno, a playlist by Xristos Katsaros on Spotify Still working tweaking my code though, there are some artists slipping in that are not electronic at all. I also thought about scraping this thread and making a playlist with all the artists discussed in here if anyone is interested.
Haven’t listened to Friendly Fires in almost a decade but I am all about this new LP, it’s a ton of fun
Balam Acab has been tweeting about his recovery after going to rehab. He’s making new music again, really seems in a better headspace. Super proud and happy for him. Dude is insanely talented and I still listen Wander/Wonder and See Birds.
