I mean, that might be a stretch (it is) but big bright synths and pretty melodies abound

 

The PC crew was definitely the first thing that popped in my head while listening, but it’s definitely it’s own thing too. Really great album.

I’m not but skimmed through the mix and it sounds excellent! The only Vancouver stuff I’m aware of is Mood Hut/Pacific Rhythm and that’s decidedly hazy/loungy house stuff. This is dope tho

I love them, the main electro tune is a blast and the beatless b side is great. I’m still lamenting the fact that he seems to be done with house and disco but he’s killing it regardless

 

Dance music LPs are both rare and often meandering but we’re off to a great start. Chrissy, Murlo, Tilman and Folamour are all great and it’s only Feb, looking like the strongest year for albums in a while

Need some recs. Been listening to a lot of Varg and Lee Gamble and Knox-Om-Pax recently, so preferably more in the same ambient/experimental/techno type vein.
