I’m not but skimmed through the mix and it sounds excellent! The only Vancouver stuff I’m aware of is Mood Hut/Pacific Rhythm and that’s decidedly hazy/loungy house stuff. This is dope tho
I know this was an accident but Jason Alexander lmao I love them, the main electro tune is a blast and the beatless b side is great. I’m still lamenting the fact that he seems to be done with house and disco but he’s killing it regardless
Dance music LPs are both rare and often meandering but we’re off to a great start. Chrissy, Murlo, Tilman and Folamour are all great and it’s only Feb, looking like the strongest year for albums in a while
