its been a long time since i've heard new shigeto or got to see him. hoping he'll do some rounds in the east during the fall/winter. last time i caught him do like a 2hr house set in chicago that was legendary

 

Bicep album is out there now!

While it all feels a little predictable, it's all very well done and I'd recommend it

 

does anyone know of any site that has like a calendar of upcoming releases worth checking out in this style?

 

I wish, Resident Advisor should really have an upcoming release calendar or something but with so many singles coming out every week I think it'd be nearly impossible. ! I just follow all the labels and artists I like on soundcloud and check my feed every day to keep an eye on what's in the pipeline that I'm excited about and then also check nodata and Glory Beats often to see when they start popping up.

tbh i mostly find out about new releases from your posts on this thread haha. but thanks i had totally forgotten about nodata and had never heard of glory beats but it seems pretty useful.

 

omg that's incredible. one thing i loved about their last album was all the vocalists were essentially no names. but this is sick.

Definitely into Trees on Fire more, but this one is nice too. Wish Empress Of had more of a presence on the track though.

 

album id imagine, i was wondering if theyd do another djds album or solo stuff and it seems with the hype they built with the last album and working on pablo they're putting all their energy into djds.

 

trees on fire instantly gets stuck in my head just by seeing or hearing the word "trees" anywhere

 

lineup? might come up for a day or two if its worth it

 

whether it be solo or with djds, definitely excited for what they do. Trees On Fire is such a great track, really digging this one too
