Been getting into a lot of stuff like Yves De Mey, KETEV and Peder Mannerfelt recently. Love that style.
Wait, they BNT'd DJ Sports? Yoooo haha His brother Central put this out earlier this year and they both collabed on one of the best club songs to come out this year
Yeah this is real good, love everything this guy produces. Having a hard time finding more by Parviz though, really liked that side of the split
Just checked discogs and that split you mentioned is the only release he's credited to, pretty sure Folamour started the label to give rise to friends and artists doing a similar thing. This whole style kinda came out of nowhere for me and is blowing up now so I think we are basically in on the ground floor
@cherrywaves Missed those questions but definitely deep house (or just house if you're talking to somebody that knows what you mean by that ie the good kind) and I've actually never delved into Black Coffee so I'm no help there
Funny thing is I found out about matrixxman because he produced my favorite mykki blanco song haha. But his own work is amazing too
That's awesome. I admittedly don't listen to a lot of techno (end up on the feel good end of the spectrum more often than not) but his stuff has always resonated with me - Homesick is probably my most listened to LP in that style. That being said, of course my favorite song of his is the outlier with the bouncy steel drums
i just love how simple and bare the beat is but still has a lot of complexities in the rhythm, not unlike his solo stuff just in a different genre. like this is one of my favorite rap beats ever
that beat is so good but it's so hard for me to picture him making it haha, that's awesome and I was previewing Sinjin this morning and almost made a post specifically @ you knowing you'd love it
My friend urged me to listen to this and holy shit. Disco, J-pop and R&B all at 160 bpm with footwork drum programming. @brandon_260
