Haven't seen this yet, but I already want this basketball

 

Wanted to ask earlier, are you more of a PTA or Baumbach fan? Just curious, I’m more of a PTA guy but I’ll admit I’ve only recently really dived into Baumbach’s backstock

What Is the Best Adam Sandler Movie?

 

definitely PTA. he's my favorite living director. i love, love, love some of baumbach's stuff but he also has a few clunkers. probably in the top 10-12 range for me.

 

I’d have to agree with you on that for sure.
Favorite PTA film? Mine’s Phantom Thread, I personally find that to be one of the finest films of our time and I’m not even exaggerating

the OST is amazing, holy shit

 

Blended being last is nuts to me. Drew and Adam have such great chemistry, they make anything watchable. The kids were cute, I thought it was fun and sweet!

 

I mean, I own it and have tried to go back to it numerous times but it just cannot make me laugh. I love them both as well (as you can see from my placement of the other two films), unfortunately this particular film is just an entire miss for me

 

i heard blended was at least better than the average happy madison movie of that time

so that, ya know, we can get more films like these

 

said by someone who definitely doesn’t live in Canada

also it’s the highest grossing A24 opening per screen, I don’t think the Safdies are going to be mad that I enthusiastically want to watch the thing they made

 

If I break down and watch the screener, (which I probably will if the quality is decent), I'll still probably go see it again in theaters.

 

I'm seeing this opening weekend in the theater, I want to experience the agonizing stress loudly

 

I won't be able to pay to see this so I will be watching whatever's online after work tonight
