I think Chalamet and Davidson would make for great leads in a Safdie movie

 

Look Adam Sandler can actually act, he just chooses not to. Doesn't mean every schlubby NYC stand-up would be a good lead. Plus if anything he's too much like one of their actual characters that he'd be better in a minor role, the same way they got the actual pawn brokers to just be themselves for 5min

 

Chalamet obviously a good actor, and Pete won me over with king of staten island.

I trust the Safdies' judgement on whoever they end up working with

 

Pete and Julia Fox will eventually hook up and then they can be in it together and break up a week later
