the more i am looking at it, the only ones that there were even credible chances of a nomination for were sandler (and gold derby still had him at 9th best odds today) and sound editing. nothing else really stood a shot.

there’s a difference between “deserves” and “had a credible chance of getting.” it wasn’t even on the shortlist to choose nominees from.
it isn’t getting “snubbed” if they never had a chance at most of the awards to begin with the rider wasn’t snubbed last year from best picture, even though it was probably one of the three best movies last year, because 12 people saw it
