His unwavering support of Rob Schneider, who's a loon and an anti-vaxxer, is still very not great.

A lot of the politics surrounding Sandler's buddies doesn't look great, but it is refreshing to hear that he seems genuinely kind with fans

Watched Good Time on amazon prime. So good. Reminded me of the people at work who are too intelligent to be in the job they're currently in but too unambitious to try anything else so they just end up being a pain in the ass to work with instead.

 

I would still love to see Hill do a Safdie Brothers film in the future

damn. i felt similarly to this as good time. super respect the level of craft in their movies, which is obviously recognizable, but the experience of viewing them is so unrelenting and unpleasant that i don’t particularly love the movies themselves.
