That killed me haha. Reminded me of the muppet versions of Jack and Kenneth from 30 Rock

 

Yep haha this whole season is like a return to classic 30 Rock status.

 

I'm really struggling to finish this season :/

 

This is how I've felt as well. I've seen some people in here say that they seem to be concentrating more on story this season, which I can see, but the stories haven't worked for me. These characters have always seemed exaggerated, almost cartoony, so I've been having a difficult time feeling invested in any kind of emotional story the show is trying to tell.

 

Yeah, the jokes and wit still seems to be there. But the storyline is straight up bad unfortunately.

 

I agree on the story being weak, minus the Titus storyline.


And puppet grandma creeped me out so much

 

I'm on episode 8 now and I've enjoyed everything I've watched so far. Seems on par with S1 to me, but I haven't watched S1 since it first dropped so...

 

Yeah I've haven't watched season one in a while either so I'm interested in rewatching it alongside season two later this year and seeing how I feel then

 

I definitely agree with all the criticism about this season but here I am, watching episode 9 or season 2 (Kimmy Meets a Drunk Lady!) yet again. Honestly, I love every part of this episode.

Ps. At the same time, Puppet Grandma (episode 10) makes me so incredibly uncomfortable I really can't explain why.

 

Yeah the plot for S2 was really weak, it was hard to get legitimately invested in any of the characters.

You know what else sucked? The comedy in Schindler's List. Woefully unfunny film.

 

Titus' trident song is so fucking great. Loved this season

 

Oh god the Joshua Jackson cameo.

I just laughed so hard at Titus eating Oreos in his sleep.

Almost done with s2. Unfortunately, nowhere near as good as the first.

 

Yeah I still have the last two episodes left to go but I have felt no desire to continue. It's felt like a chore to sit and watch this season.

 

I finally started season 2. Its unfortunate to read everyone didn't really like it. I am on episode 4 and sure it's not as good as the 1st season but I wouldn't call watching it a chore.

 

I genuinely enjoyed the season, at times a lot, but it wasn't as strong for me as a whole. And, the episode with the Titus Kimono performance plot gave me secondhand embarrassment.

 

So what's up with Hamm only playing himself for like, 1 minute? He's usually down to guest in anything

 

Probably availability conflicts/no real use for him in the plot of the season. The cliffhanger seems to suggest that he'll play a bigger role next season though

 

I really don't like Lillian at all, thought everything with her brought down the season

 

She was borderline unbearable this season.

 

Titus saved the season imo even with his weirdly racist ep.

 

My feelings exactly. Except I only made it to the fourth episode.

This season has not clicked with me at all.

 

It took me maybe a whole month to finish 13 episodes. It was tough for me to find the desire to watch this season.
