    It's all hell.

I think its so funny how Ed Davey essentially using the last six weeks as an audition for Jackass gave the lib dems their record number of seats, (obviously a lot of these were protest votes against the tories). The man had a fucking blast, whilst the rest of the campaigns were total slogs to get through.

    I do not exist.

Yeah I see them as a good voice to have in Parliament - they’re not in the position to contribute to governing, but hopefully they continue to raise the profile of environment concerns.

Genuinely didnt know that. Seems unusual move that to be fair considering their branding is so interchangable. The gaffs from Scottish Greens are in this article below. The article is generous by not mentioning the hundreds of millions some of them have cost the tax payer.

I watched most of Starmers first press conference today in no10. To be fair, came accross pretty well. Proof will be in a years time if we start to see a difference.

Well, I didn't vote Labour and I'm still happy with that decision.

Im not a huge Starmer fan, but will give him a chance.

I know it was a good PR stunt to meet the first ministers. However, its going to be interesting to see how Labour and SNP "work together" when it approaches the scottish elections in 2 years. As the SNP's main rhetoric has been independence and "dont blame us, blame the torys". The scottish Q&A's did show there is discontent in the nation that people want issues fixed now, not when the independence magic wand appears. My suspicion is labour west minister will go on a charm offensive to also try and take down the SNP in Holyrood as i dont think there will be a better time to do it.

I dont want to sound crass, but its not exactly a shocker news story. But he only has so long sitting on the fence before it will turn on him in the future election.

I wouldnt be surprised if at somepoint focus is also put on money being spent supporting Ukraine. As ultimately how much longer can everyone fund this war. I appreciate that is a Trump esq point.

Looking at the details of this election as an outsider. What is the deal with Claudia Webbe and Leicester East? So she basically decided to pull a Corbyn and ran as Independent, but unlike Corbyn it split the left vote and backfired? Her seat was the only seat that switched from Labour to Conservative, the only Labour defeat from someone to their right, and Conservatives only gain.

Its not really comparable to Corbyn imo. She was convicted of a crime in 2020 (threatening to throw acid over someone). Got expelled by labour in 2020-ish. She continued to serve as an MP but as independent from that point. I think they couldnt oust her as an MP as she had lodged an appeal on her conviction which did eventually fail. So she has no other choice to run as an independent again as no party would really go near her. i would hazard a guess that despite her being expelled from labour, her continueing on and not resigning, probably left some bad taste towards labour.

I would hazard a guess this is an example of Starmer "tidying up the party", which has probably worked overall. Just not in this case. I think labour even wanted to call a by election when they expelled her but couldnt due to her appeal.

Edit: this is my loose understanding and joining a few dots.

    It's all hell.

It's depressing how Braverman, Anderson and Farage (and the rest of those grifters) won't see any repercussions for their role in stoking the rhetoric which has led to the violence seen over the last few days.

The scary thing is the amount of bots/fake accounts/genuine c*nts I've seen on almost every social media post about Southport/ London last night trying to justify the EDL's actions.

    Dark fucking times.

Live down the road from Hartlepool, not surprised the cretins there have tried to get involved. They don't give a single toss about murdered children - just want an excuse to destroy things and chuck shit at the police.
