Started my new job last week. Today someone has got Covid and I don’t feel well (headaches, temp, cough) so will be going home.

Came back positive, but atm the only difference I feel in myself is that my throat feels like sandpaper. Hopefully that stays my only real symptom.

My daughter was ill in the night on Wednesday and has had a temperature since, so her nursery wants her to get tested before she's allowed back. Got her booked in this morning. I'd be surprised if its covid but we'll see.

 

I’m doing okay thanks. Bit tired, and coughy, but honestly I feel okay.

The idea that they wasted so much political capital and pretty much all goodwill from the election, undermining their entire public health message in the middle of a pandemic, to defend the guy only for him to be sacked 6 months later is just beyond belief.

I really, really hope the Tories don't use this to try and squirm away and claim a new start. They lined up one by one to defend him breaking the law. That can never be forgotten. Not one spine between the lot of 'em.
