I know a little something you won't ever know Prestigious

My professor had a talk with David Lammy today on campus. I couldn't make it because I had another class during it but he said it was great. Lammy seems pretty okay, he's not exactly a Corbynite from what I can tell but he doesn't seem to be a Blairite either. Wish I could've gone

Lammy is one of the few politicians I actually follow on Twitter and I’ve always been impressed. He seems to actually stand up for his constituents and speak out against a range of injustices. Sorry you missed it!

Hungarians Take to the Streets to Protest an Election Seen as a Hammer Blow to Democracy

“Fears that the campaign of harassment and intimidation against non-governmental organizations would only intensify after the election seemed more credible on Thursday, when a pro-government weekly, Figyelo, published the names of hundreds of civil society activists, aid workers, scholars and independent journalists — all identified as enemies of the state, based on support they had received from the Soros-funded Open Society Foundations (OSF).”

It's an interesting situation that I didn't really know much about. Thanks for the article you posted above.
