Chiming in to say those early 2000's albums were so good.

Yeah, I really love the 2000s output. Those albums aren't as adventurous as the 1990s stuff, but so many of those songs are great.

just wanna quickly say that "Moment of Surrender" is one of their finest songs ever

I started re-listening to U Talkin’ U2 to Me and it’s sent me down a U2 rabbit hole again. Such a fun band to dive in to with their history of great and inventive albums, including the return to pretty pristine pop rock in the 2000s.

Pop is bloated and could stand to lose a few of the weaker tracks, but most of it is terrific. “Last Night on Earth” rips.

I think tracks 1-7 on Pop are strong. Not the heights of other releases of course, but a good run for this band in a transition period.

"The Refugee" is such a good underrated banger

like I know it's straight up U2 doing Talking Heads, but do I mind? the answer is no

I don't like them because they refuse to pay tax in Ireland and the fact they keep talking about how the system is broken, while they exploit it.
