whoa okay. that 'velvet 4 sale' song made a handful of choices i did not expect melodically. i'm feeling this

 

i totally expected this band to be more like, garagy than funky/sounding like sales. ok

 

You guys should definitely listen to Half Free if you haven’t.

 

This is wonderful. I think I like it way more than the last album.

This is definitely my favorite thing released today that I’ve listened to so far. Hope others check it out. Thinking it might get a BNM early next week, which would be a nice push.

 

I love this. The closer is so fun and wraps up the album perfectly

 

Yea this is one of the best records of the year so far.

Ok. This might be THE best record of the year. Obsessed. All of a sudden I’m flooded with records I am excited for. US Girls, Camp Cope, Beach House, Courtney Barnett, Soccer Mommy, Lucy Darcus, Frankie Cosmos, Car Seat Headrest, and Malkmus. Any more recs?

this is really cool, super unique, no idea what to even compare this to, lol

 

I think of Madonna a ton when I listen.

Jesus christ. I put this on on a whim ten minutes ago because of the BNM, and I don't think I've ever snagged tickets to a show faster in my life.

 

Also, $12? At a 300 person venue? How is she not, like, St. Vincent huge?
