it's a nice thought, but unless I'm misremembering, BTI and Awaken both had months of promotion/singles in their leadup, and I just can't see an artist with Gambino's name recognition surprise dropping. honestly have a sneaking suspicion he scrapped it

his live show is what sealed it for me. unreal performer.

 

As of right now, this is definitely Top 5 on my AOTY list.

 

Not sure what you're getting at, I listen to like 200 albums a year and this is my favorite

 

I love this and think it's excellent, but it's also something I have to be in a mood for if I'm being honest. Not a bad thing though. It'll most likely be on my list.

I totally forgot Bastard dropped on Christmas lol. Obviously some of it has aged quite badly but there's still a lot of cool shit on there, especially in the ways you can see how he would take his sound later
