damn, this is just fun

 

Yeah this is my summer jam vibe so far. Just easy to throw on when the sun is shining and the heat is sweltering

 

I have been playing this non-stop start to finish

 

I honestly think this is my favorite album by him since IGOR. Every song is great and the project as a whole just feels like a ton of fun

I hope he does a second leg of the tour for this because these songs sound made to be played live

 

Can't imagine he doesn't tour on this if he's just put a new record out that's made for clubs and live spaces.

 

This may be third for me after Flower Boy and CMIYGL

 

This album is fun but I’d comfortably rank Flower Boy, IGOR, CMIYGL and Chromakopia above it

 

Can’t quite put it over IGOR rn or maybe ever, would have to revisit Flower Boy to compare them fairly as I have a bit of positive bias towards that album from one particular listening experience, def over Chromakopia by far, more consistent than CMIYGL but also not sure if I can rank this over that yet but it’s very close, this is a fantastic album. Gets me smiling half the time, and wanting to rage with the harder raps. There’s no mid on here, everything is either amazing, great or good

 

Seeing him at Lolla this Friday and I’m curious if he’ll do any of these songs there (or at any of the other fests he has coming up). I know he hasn’t been at his headlining shows, but I wonder if he views the fests as something separate from the Chromakopia tour, especially since he already played Chicago last month for that.

 

I know I have like zero evidence but I swear I saw on either TikTok or somewhere where he was talking about no tour is planned for it. He said he just wanted to drop something for his friends to dance to.

it was either the tour he’s on or those record release shows where he mentioned it.

 

IGOR is the goat

 

Flowerboy gang forever. one of my favourite albums

 

I was telling someone that IGOR is just IT for me like I don’t ever feel he could beat that solely cause the album rules but also I have a very strong emotional sentiment to it.

 

Just in case anyone misconstrued my post I mean that this is my favorite SINCE Igor. I don't think this is better than Igor or Flower Boy but I think I like it more than CMIYGL and Chroma

 

I like IGOR but it is not a top three project of his for me

Will probably wait to see if any record stores near me get it. As much as I want it, $40 plus shipping is a lot.

I’ve been listening to Tyler to get ready to see him in a few weeks at his festival and I gotta say gone gone / thank you might be a top 5 song from him.

Igor remains my top album too. Chromakopia would realistically take its spot if I just didn’t feel meh for Judge Judy and Hey Jane.

 

Man, "Hey Jane" is top tier
