beautiful statement from T and yeah confirms my suspicion that sitting at home is not the way to experience this
Man I dig this waaaay more than that Chroma. Would love for something in the spirit of IGOR / CMIYGL again but this feels sooo fresh
Heard a few people call this a dance album, but it just feels like a tribute to 90s/early 00s RnB and rap.
after 2 listens I like this a lot more than chromokopia which is cool im geeking at the usage of the 2000s rap and r&b style
I fucking looooove this. I'm really into Chromakopia too, but the replay value on this is gonna be crazy. Really appreciate the runtime. Production just goes absolutely wild. My favorite hip-hop release of the year so far
This is a dance record? Guess I was expecting something like Big Fish Theory from Vince with that description. Not for me.
There’s parts on here that reminded me a little of Chroma, specifically Thought I was Dead, and not related to this album I’ve had Darling, I in my head so I think I’m gonna give that a revisit too, feel like now that I got this project with the production being what I was hoping for, now I might find more enjoyment in the last album without having that be a distraction to me
Revisiting a bunch of his loosies now and man, he puts out such good one-off singles. "POTATO SALAD," "OKRA," "435," "WHAT THE FUCK," unreal stuff
10 years later, Don't Tap The Glass feels like what he originally intended to do with Cherry Bomb. The whole "only listen to this loud and in order" instructions work this time around. It's a vibe.
Agreed and I think the order you listed is how I’d rank them, maybe swap the last two, Potato Salad is one of my fav collabs of his in general
