The tour definitely helped Chromakopia grow on me a lot and I would still call it a great album but it's also still my least favorite since Cherry Bomb
Day 1 in Boston I saw tix for $57, told my friend hey it’s too late to go now but if it’s dropping this low, let’s keep an eye on day 2.. of course even last minute day 2 nothing was below like $160 lmao
I went to his Camp Flog Gnaw set like 3 weeks after the record dropped so I was peak hype and he delivered
I kinda hope there is just a couple features, CMIYGL was a solid balance imo, I think another thing for me is I just preferred the structure of IGOR and it felt more cohesive, some features on Chroma didn’t hit for me. Tbh I’d be excited with no features, two or three big features, or just a few scattered throughout, my excitement is growing now, the hype is real
Idk, the aesthetic and the line about dancing on the flier could also convince me this is weirder/poppier/more danceable even if I'm hoping for the opposite
I think it's super cool we're hours away from a new Tyler album and we haven't heard a peep from it/have no idea what it's gonna sound like
so it's like a dance album with pitch-shifted rapping and singing so far lol. very interesting direction for him, don't know if I'm loving it yet
definitely a wild listen, kinda not sure what to make of this lol. feels like it was meant to be listened to in a club not sitting at home in my PJs I'll Take Care of You is beautiful though and definitely sounds like he's having fun on this
