the opening of the track makes me think it’ll be like track 2 and track 1 is about to be grand as hell
I love this, my only hope is that it actually leans more into the experimental stuff and the more familiar elements/chords on this one are an exception, I love his go to sound but the part with the synths and vocal harmonies is a bit too familiar feeling/not as exciting as the rest
Never got into Tyler, where is a good point to start? i had a terrible live experience at a festival back when OF was still a thing. Literally was a mob of suburban white kids screaming ***got and other slurs back to them on stage. it was pretty jarring for a young queer punk. I believe he’s since come out as bi/gay? Did he ever address the earlier homophobic content?
Yeah, start with Flower Boy...that's honestly when I first started paying attention to him and I've become a big fan over the last few years.
His earlier stuff is edgy but there’s definitely really good stuff in there. Start at Cherry Bomb if you want to not go through the super edgy stuff
Tour support is solid, would be a fun show I have a soft spot for Cherry Bomb but pretty much completely echo starting with Flower Boy and moving forward.
Loved their album last year called Mid Air. Would give the whole thing a spin but my fav tracks are DnD with Kenny Mason and Panic
I don’t mind Yachty as an opener if he plays stuff mostly off his new album, first album of his I’ve enjoyed. Anyway, can’t wait for Monday! Also glad tickets go on sale a few days after, not that I don’t expect to love this but I’ll feel better about going after giving it a few listens
I've been to every Tyler tour since Cherry Bomb and don't plan on stopping now And yeah Paris Texas is dope, I'm excited to see how they are live
