Tyler is a legit feature killer, I've never heard him even be just okay on one. Amazing every single time

 

Love listening to him speak.

 

If he actually didn't have a speech prepared that's extremely impressive because that was really good

Was majorly out of touch with music in 2021, so much that I didn't even know Tyler released a new album until I start seeing peoples AOTY lists.

I'm not a massive Tyler fan but have really enjoyed watching his evolution and maturity both in real life and in his music.


This album is fucking tremendous. Personally, I have pretty much never cared about cohesiveness in an album so the mixtape feel is very okay with me. After the first listen MASSA thru SWEET/I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE is very much my shit and a great run of songs . I'm excited to watch some interviews with Tyler discussing the album.


I am curious (and i'm sure this question has been asked plenty) but are most of the Oddfuture guys still relevant/semi-relevant? Was the break up organic or was there any beef? I'd have to guess some of the members fell by the wayside big time but maybe not.

 

The only one is Earl who is besides Tyler. They all kind of went their own way.

Syd and Matt Martians still have The Internet. And Domo is still doing stuff, his last record is coming up on 4 years old but he just put out a single last month

 

idk Syd and The Internet are definitely still popular. Hive Mind is an incredible record.

 

Tyler, Earl, Frank and The Internet(Syd) have all found their own lanes of stuff.

Taco does dj sets occasionally but I think he does writing for tv also.

Jasper is just Tyler’s hype man

domo just does random features here and there

 

The one I always worried about was Left Brain, I remember seeing videos of him realllllllly messed up on opiates and talking about how much he loved them, it was rough to watch. I can't seem to find anything recent about him in my half assed research.

the new earl stuff is as thrilling and next level as tyler has been as of late, very high expectations for that album based on the singles

 

and I think hodgy beats ended up feuding with odd future so basically most people disregard anything he releases and stuff

 

I was trying to figure out what it was but yeah taco wrote for lil dicky new show and Jonah hill new movie/tv show idk

 

Whatever happened to Hodgy Beats? Always liked his and Tyler's work together during the WOLF era

 

he dated Nelly Furtado lol
