As I mentioned earlier in the thread I care less about the CGI tornadoes than I do about them nailing the "quirky maverick weather nerds" spirit of the original, and based on the trailer they seemed to have not failed on that part.
Actually good, not a joke. You expect something ridiculous like Geostorm, but this ticks every box for a good disaster movie. Thrilling, emotional, well-made. I really enjoyed how it focuses on just a man and his family trying to survive. Some thought provoking scenes on human nature in the midst of chaos as well. There are parts that really feel believable.
Why did they have to do another tonado one? Are they redoing the volcano movie with pierce brosnan too? (Dantes Peak)

The first one was at the right timing, and the original one. I don't think I can watch another - unless there are flying cows.
Seems like it will be a fun summer flick. The sound editing in that trailer was annoying though. It has like 10 fade in/fade outs.
