Saw it again last night w a friend and liked it a little less, definitely noticed some more script and dialogue issues. Fun time still, though.
still have a few questions after sitting with this for a few days. does Tyler ever reveal to Kate what got him into chasing? related, does Tyler’s team just chase for the thrill/youtube content? i guess maybe their goal is to raise funds from merch/social media to help affected communities post-storm
Didn’t he say it’s because he saw a tornado when he was really young and that sparked his interest in it? I just saw it again today and I forgot. I think you’re right on the second point. also, feel bad for the friend who got struck by lightning and you’re like “Surely he won’t die by being the first to get sucked in a tornado!” And welp!
That kind of makes sense with something like Inception and the top, not the romantic angle you teased the entire film!
