Twisted Metal (Peacock)

A ten episode series (at least for season one) based on the video games. Season one is on Peacock now. Interesting the episodes are only 23-32 minutes… I’m excited to check it out soon.

Never played the game, shame on me. But this looks fun and fantastic cast. Will certainly give it a try next time I renew Peacock

 

I played 2 and 3 on PS1 as a kid. The story is nonsensical, but the cars, characters, and soundtrack rules.

 

them going full video game in the last episode ripped. kinda expected this to suck and it didn’t. not great but i was watching for mitch and he had a fun and substantial role. would def watch another season, even though i’d be shocked if they made one

can’t believe we didn’t get a rob zombie drop somewhere in the finale

 

Twisted Metal 2 is a top 5 game for me

 

I spent a lot of time playing the first three on PS1. I was so hyped for Twisted Metal 3, then underwhelmed with the game. But those first two ruled.

Will make some time for this series soon.

 

Glad we actually got some Twisted Metal in the last ep. Hope we get a season 2 because I wanna see Axel and Mr Grimm

Perfect show to just blast through in a weekend. Enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.

 

This was fun. Short episodes so it was easy to binge.

 

Wife and I binged season one in a day last summer. Something we haven't done maybe ever! It's a fun blast.

 

Heck yea, Im on board. Wasn't too interested in the first season, but watched the first episode out of boredom and was immediately hooked. Instant fun and breezed through the season in a day or two.

Yep that is noho Hank in the trailer!! I agree I was immediately hooked by the end of the first episode and watched the rest of season 1 after that, so much damn fun!!
