that show was magical. Afterwards, my sister’s boss met me and as soon as she saw my tattoo she was like, “Ok, that’s it, I’m taking you backstage.” Unfortunately, as I was walking in the backstage hall towards the green room, James walked right past me and I didn’t say anything cause he was holding a guitar so I assumed he was packing up and would be back but I guess he was on his way out. Also, I had literally just missed Chrysta as well. So that sucked. But I met her husband, the conductor, and he gave me free reign to all the food and beer which was really nice and also gave me a little plastic gold shovel haha. I didn’t wanna spend too much time recording but I compiled what I did record and threw it up on YouTube. Sorry for my videography, I had been drinking lol
Like, I'm sure I'd still think it's good music on its' own without ever having seen the show, but the emotions attached the music from the show is clearly there for me. They did a great job of repeating the same songs over and over and over again throughout the show.
I still remember watching the pilot and the first time the title came up with that music, and I still didn't know what I was in for but I just started... feeling things
I'm so glad these Laura's Theme vids are circulating now. I made a TON last year and posted them in the Logposting FB group and uploaded most to my YT channel. Enjoy :P (the original one I posted apparently got zapped on copyright, whoops)
I think my favorites I made were The Office and Star Wars, both which YouTube won't actually let me share (but Facebook was fine with??) The Fresh Prince one on reddit is too good, though - I hope it reignites the meme!!
Superimposed Cooper face saying "we live inside a dream" in the slightest slo-mo with a bit of an echo is one of the most eerie things I've ever experienced in a movie/show/whatever.
Our room at work requires a badge to get into and there's a woman who forgets hers quite often. This morning she lightly knocked on the door and said "Laauuurrraaa..." to another woman who works here and it sounded exactly like Sarah Palmer when she's calling for Laura to get out of bed in the pilot...
it's so good. I was staying with family in Washington and their house was right on this beautiful lake with mountains behind it. i walked out to the dock in the morning with my coffee and just put the theme on while the water quietly went by and sun came up. perfection. haha
