So this is my background on my laptop at home and I always, always forget it's there and it freaks me out a tad every time I close my browser.
Policeman Bobby seeing Laura's picture and breaking down with the music swelling is one of my all time favorite TP scenes.
Alfonso Cuarón Fell in Love With ‘Twin Peaks: The Return’ While Making ‘Roma’: ‘I Wish More Shows Were Like That’
Speaking of Twin Peaksy music, I would not be surprised if I heard this being performed at The Roadhouse
My buddy’s boss had an unopened s03 box set on blu ray from the producers guild as voting screeners. She never watched it so she gave it to him and he gave it to me. Stoked to just watch episode 8 on loop til the end of time. Wish I could make it an Apple TV screensaver.
It has only been 8 months since I've watched this show for the first time, but I can already see how much it changed me as a person, like my current music tastes tend towards eerie and dark stuff much like its soundtrack. I need to get into Lynch's filmography. Mulholland Drive left an impressive mark on me a few years back.
Watch Inland Empire, my favorite movie of his and my favorite movie period. I watched it once and was confused af. I watched it again and tried to piece stuff together. I went on blogs and read theories people came up with. Then I watched it a third time and it made a lot more sense. It has a ton of symbolism and it’s like a puzzle.
Blue Velvet is the most similar to the old magical Twin Peaks, that is if you’re looking for something like that. Also Fire Walk With Me but they're considerably darker. Eraserhead remains my favorite Lynch film though. It's genius.
I think Mulholland is still my favourite but I love almost everything he's made. I really hope he makes another film at some point.
