I thought that as first as well, but I guess he hadn’t played it before. He’s done a couple others, they’re great.
Speaking of, there's some funny Titanic connections with Twin Peaks: Both Billy Zane and David Warner were in both, and then there's this:
Whoever decides on stuff like that should be embarrassed, especially with Westworld getting any nominations.
We just got the greatest auteur-driven season of television ever aired with one of the best performed dual/multiple roles by Kyle McLaughlin with possibly the most jaw-dropping and riveting episode of television ever with Episode 8... and nothing??!! Like it doesn't surprise me because awards are jokes, but it still hurts a little
Apparently they're slow revealing nominations and it got a couple now for writing or directing. Waiting for a final list to look, but still, no acting nominations or overall series nominations is pathetic.
Im seeing twin peaks got noms for best cinematography, best writing, and best directing—all for a limited series.
Okay, so 9 nominations total, my bad for not realizing they were rolling them out beforehand: Twin Peaks
It’s pretty funny seeing early reactions and predictions. My stance on a decent amount of stuff has changed after a year
Thank you @Larry David. I encourage all members to go back and like all my posts, in this thread and elsewhere edit: also fuck the Emmy's for this snub
It was extremely entertaining to go back and read all of the predictions early in the season, and I was especially excited to see reactions to episode 8, and the finale! Some of y'all had some solid predictions, and aligned with what I thought was happening/going to happen. Anyone who was bored/disappointed by Episode 8- never watch anything David Lynch ever again. He's not for you. That is the greatest hour that's ever aired on television of anything!
