Once you realize it's a completely different thing than the original show, you may find that it's even better. I know I did, and I love the original.
The Return absolutely blew me away and I too had deep love for the original show. It's a completely different experience than I expected it to be and I'm thankful that it was. David Lynch is a genius.
I'm about to start a binge on The Return now that it's all available and I've got showtime anytime app. Still only seen the first episode.
I'm definitely not of the mind that it's better than the original series but it's still excellent, genius, and well worth the ride. I feel like it's almost unfair to compare the two though, weird as that sounds. They're like two wholly separate, unique entities despite technically being the same show lol.
It’s hard to say it’s better because it’s such a different experience. With that said, it’s far more consistent. Granted, it’s only 18 episodes, but still. I already thought Twin Peaks was great, but Season 3 solidified it as a masterpiece for me and makes any misgivings in season 2 completely worth it.
The new show was far and away better, although it probably comes down to which version of Lynch you prefer.
I’m at L.A. Comic-Con and Henry Goaz and Kimmy Robertson are here about to do a panel. I’m excited but also I hope they don’t do audience Q & A cause that shit always makes me cringe so hard for some reason. I just feel like people always ask the worst questions
Spoke briefly to Harry. Just as kind and wonderful as his character without being a complete idiot haha
So I saw Fall Out Boy tonight and they totally use the explosion in Episode 8 as the entire background for This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race. The black & white mushroom cloud is the verses and the color pops inside the cloud are the chorus. Will update with picture proof later.
I'm finally watching episode 2 now Does anyone remember the screen blinking a lighter shade every 20 seconds or so when watching? I'm really trying to figure out wtf that is. I suspect it's the stream on showtime anytime that's fucked up or something. Anyone else experience that?
It's pissing me off. I've already had bad experience with the Showtime app on more than one occasion and I just got it. They need to get their shit together.
There’s some interesting tidbits in The Final dossier. biggest one prolly bring that Sarah Palmer is officially the girl with the bug that crawled Into her mouth also, in the reality that Tammy/FBI is living in anyway, Laura disappeared on that day instead of dying. Leland killed him self one year later.
