There was nothing when after the credits started rolling, right?

 

Kind of a resonant ending, which is not what I expected, but I DID expect to be lost and upset and emotional

 

It was mentioned on Reddit, but I definitely felt like that was Mr. C when he was in the diner. Didn't feel like Coop

 

I'm not sure if this is one of those these where after some time I'll be amazed by that ending or just incredibly frustrated. All of me wants a season 4 now, even if it's just like 5 episodes.

I will say, gotta hand it to Lynch for subverting our expectations once again. Most people, myself included, thought episode 18 would consist of Coop vs. Mr. C in a showdown. They took care of that real quick lol

 

yeah remember how we felt and thought was going to happen when they flashed back to the pilot to show Laura's body not on the beach...and then the rest of the episode happened and then ep 18 happened.

 

So what was the point of the drunk guy in the jail? What happened to Sarah Palmer? Where is Audrey? Why did Diane leave that note using different names?

 

Trying to piece a few things together: Sarah Palmer was Judy, and if Laura is never killed, then the pain and suffering that the entities feed off of isn't inside Sarah and maybe Judy never exists? Hence Sarah stabbing the picture trying to kill her after being saved. This means Bob and the other things were never created making a new timeline/reality where Laura isn't Laura?

 

I think he isn't who he was

 

So, that sex scene. Was Diane covering Dale's face because she got triggered orrrr did she sense that that wasn't Dale?

 

My brain hurts so much right now. Hopefully I can fall asleep tonight haha.

 

i'm surprised more people didn't pick up on the fact that after they drove past "exactly 430 miles" (or whatever) that everything changed...dale wasn't dale anymore, diane wasn't diane, laura wasn't laura etc. etc. hence the different names they seem to have entered a completely different timeline

 

I think they didn't actually know each other

I was thinking I had fell asleep and I missed a lot uhh

 

And they were discovering that as they were having sex?

 

I think that makes sense. Though I dunno how she knew his name but that's entirely possible

 

i mean diane wrote in her letter that she no longer recognized "richard"

 

also did no one notice that they went to sleep in one motel and woke up in a completely different one?

 

I wanna see the Wikipedia synopsis for this episode lol

 

The way it flips over is very mulholland drive

 

For a second I honestly thought we were gonna be in that world

 

All I'm thinking is the grandma of the magician once owned that house or that's her???

I'm so confused

 

Reminder that in episode 1 of this season the fireman says to dale " remember 430. Richard and Linda."

 

Dale's face superimposed in 17 is supposed to mirror you watching right

 

"are you sure you want to do this? you don't know what it's going to be like once we-"
"i know that. we're at that point now...almost exactly 430 miles"
...
"this is the place all right. kiss me. once we cross it could all be different"

 

New Laura said her name was Carrie Paige which is the same last name as Ashley Judd's character from the Great Northern (Beverly Paige). The new timeline could just be a shifted one which is why he asks what year it is.
