Gotta pick myself up a copy. I preordered one on Amazon and it never showed. I got my moolah back but I neeeeeeed the book
I have a problem of buying books and never getting to read them. Secret History is one of those books.
There haven't been many that I've found beyond the "Hey I know that person" sort of connections and the identity of Agent TP, but I haven't hit much of the modern day (S1) things yet. I think The Final Dossier which comes out on Halloween will have a lot more connections to this season.
It makes me terribly sad to think this show will end :( This season has been one of the most mesmerizing and fantastic runs of television ive ever seen
Right. Not only is the tone completely different, but the pacing is so fast on the original run. I can see why someone who was just a Twin Peaks fan and not necessarily a David Lynch fan would have a really hard time with season 3.
I'm not sure which style I prefer because I love both, but I think season 3 works best when binged. Didn't Lynch state that it was meant to be consumed as a long 18 hour film?
That's the idea, yeah. It'll be interesting to rewatch this and be able to streamline it. It's hard to compare, I love them both for different reasons.
Before DougieCoop started pressing the buttons on the remote, he adjusted these two little sculptures (salt shakers?) that look like Twin Peaks on the table. I was wondering what was up with that.
Rewatching the first season, I can't believe how much I missed. I had forgotten that there were two doctors. The beginning of the show is really heavy on the Packard story that it is pretty interesting how that is completely abandoned now.
Yeah, I'm on season two now and I realize that I've pretty much forgotten everything. Certain subplots are coming up and I have no idea how hey conclude haha.
Came across this recently, thought it was interesting. TWIN PEAKS ARCHIVE: Twin Peaks Archive Presents...
I actually believe I've read that exact article before. Really interesting stuff. Makes me wonder about the humming in the Great Northern in this season... And now that they're bringing up Judy again, who knows? Maybe Josie will return.
I'll eat my shoe Herzog style if Garland Briggs isn't Judy. I also don't see where Josie could fit into the sorry this late in the game. Things are starting to wrap up.
Yeah, I know this was in the international pilot and not canon, but part of me thinks that this is the same boiler room that James went into at the end of 14 and maybe something went down, I dunno
Definitely want to give FWWM one rewatch (maybe try the fan cut with Missing Pieces added) before the finale airs.
