Kind of weird to see Lynch twenty years younger after watching the return. I've seen the first two seasons three times but I just realized that when I remember all of Gordon's scenes I picture him the way Lynch looks now
I'm not sure. A lot of people on Reddit are hating on this episode but I dunno, I liked it. I really enjoy seeing how Ben has matured.
well, now I can add beef jerky to the list of things I'll never look at the same way again thanks to David Lynch.
lol reddit is 99% trash so I'm not surprised. No doubt people whining that Audrey's re-introduction wasn't what they were hoping or expecting it to be.
Me too. Was not expecting that scene/reveal at all but I wasn't disappointed with it. I like that there wasn't some grand reveal or dramatic, drawn-out revelatory moment, it just...happened. Haha. Also, does anyone have any idea what's up with these little roadhouse scenes we've been getting? That is, characters we've never seen before discussing characters we've never seen before, who we'll probably never see again? Far as I can tell they're just little vignettes that highlight that life in Twin Peaks is still full of drama and the next generation of it's population is repeating a lot of the mistakes of the previous one.
It is easy to understand the frustration. It is really testing of your patience. I am looking forward to seeing what it builds toward, but if you are used to "regular" shows this would be frustrating.
Loved this episode, caught myself smiling all throughout. The scene with Gordon, that woman, and Albert was hilarious, as was Audrey's reintroduction. I remember some dude burst into the RR asking about Billy a few episodes back... interesting stuff. Also audreys husband had me cracking up. Not the most dramatic episode but a great one imo. Also every scene with Sarah is heartbreaking. Maybe that sound was the kid from the grocery store who considered delivering her alcohol
Audrey's husband reminded me of like a c tier mobster and it was great. I'm also curious about the contract that she signed to agree to the marriage.
AUDREY YES Not how I expected her to be reintroduced but totally curious to learn more of...whatever they were talking about. The star of the episode was Sarah, loved her weird, fascinating scenes this week. Oh, and the Blue Rose case explanation was something I wasn't quite expecting to happen, liked that a lot. Not one of my favorite episodes but I cherish every second we get of this show.
hmm [S3E12] My theory about what Sarah Palmer was saying in the store • r/twinpeaks It's really hard to predict anything on this show but I sort of fancy the idea that the woodsmen will hijack Jacoby's show
