Well that...took a turn there at the Bang Bang Bar.

 

that reminded me so much of Frank/Blue Velvet.

Also, wtf was going on with that scene in the cell where Bob/Coop's reflection got all messed up

 

He was checking to make sure Bob was still with him, and saw Bob's face still merged with his, so he knew he was still with him. These episodes have sort of explained that Evil Coop isn't Bob like a lot of us, myself included, thought; he just has Bob inside of him.

 

yeah, I meant more so like... the effect was just really wild lol

 

Ohhhhh my bad. Yeah it was a cool effect.

 

1) I thought there was gonna be another Cooper in Argentina lol
2) is the black box the tape recorder?

 

my guess is that the black box is somehow related to Jeffries since he went missing in Buenos Aires. Maybe Jeffries is communicating using the box / is the box?

 

Creepy dude in the bar was credited as Richard Horne. Interesting.

I'm trying to have patience, because Lynch knows what he is doing, but the Dougie storyline and the other disparate stories are becoming a bit annoying.

 

I thought the same thing haha.

Watching this week to week is going to be so hard.

I loved ep 5 so, so much. The dougie/coop stuff had me laughing and heartbroken at the same time.

we need to talk about sonny jim doing the creepy backwards blink. black lodge child?

 

I mean he literally is a creepy Black Lodge child, considering Dougie was probably born of the Black Lodge himself haha. That was super unsettling though.

Also, yeah, this was a really good episode.
