I don't think I ever finished the second season and my memory was pretty foggy anyways, hype in here got me really excited so I tore though all of S1 today, gonna start S2 tonight and be caught up in no time
It is incredibly frustrating from the perspective of just wanting to see the old characters again, but ultimately this is a good thing because it is certainly building up to something interesting. Showtime deserves a lot of credit for letting Lynch run wild with this.
Watched all 4. Going to be re watching the first two seasons and then FWWM in interim. Kinda hope this Cooper stuff gets settled soon-ish
Got the free month of Showtime. About to smoke out of my new bong and hit play on this bad boy. Time to again lose myself in Lynch's strange and wonderful world, and so so happy to finally be able to say that.
I have to mention how much I love these credit sequences. If there was one thing I did not expect from the Twin Peaks revival, it was discovering cool new music. But I'll definitely be looking up The Chromatics and Au Revoir Simone after this.
Yeah, the performances are reminiscent of Buffy to me. Forget pie and damn good coffee, those credits are comfy enough for me
Starting episode 3, it is remarkable to watch the new Lynch style juxtaposed with characters from his pre-Lost Highway days. If someone jumped right from the second season to this, they would be in some shock.
I think I have a grasp of what's going on. It seems like the doppelgänger of the arm forces Cooper out in a different manner than he was intended, i.e., fighting it out in the black lodge with bob and retaking his body. Dougie is Bob's out, hence him being "manufactured". That's who Bob was trying to get to, so he wouldn't have to go to the black lodge. As such, Cooper, when took over Dougie's body, the process has him missing some part of himself and it's related to that ball Mike has.
