So stoked. Going to bake my cherry pie tomorrow. Have a little get together for the premiere. It will be a mighty fine day.
I had a feeling that the new season might be really abstract and more similar to Lynch's post-TP film work. Sounds like that might be the case.
Yep, two hour/episode premiere then next week's episode (which is also two hours/two episodes) will be on demand right after the first couple air.
Well, next Sunday = airing eps 3&4. Even though 3&4 are made available this weekend. So I guess it's "taking a week off"
Yeah, two weeks until another new episode if you watch the 3/4 on Sunday, pretty much off for Memorial Day weekend.
Not quite sure how I'm gonna watch this. I love Twin Peaks but I just don't think I want to pay for Showtime.
I'm paying via Prime. I'm sure I could torrent it but I don't wanna do that. I figure $8.99 a month ain't so bad for Twin Peaks. Plus I'll cancel it once it's over.
Couldn't you just buy the season pass for the show on Amazon, or other video services? That'd surely be much cheaper than Showtime every month for the duration of the show. However, I think video services take a day or two after airing to appear.
Should be able to, unless they've changed it. But I bought the season pass for Dexter season 7 in 2012, and that was like $25 and I got the episodes weekly.
I'm perfectly fine watching it weekly on TV, but it's going to be tough avoiding discussion that first week when people with streaming are two episodes ahead
