Dont think I'm going to watch that clip. The premiere is close enough and I'm hype enough that I'll take your guys word for it

 

I just want to say something I forgot to say last week.

I think the death that happens in the second season episode 7 might be the most haunting moment in the show.

I never realized how spooky it was on my first watch of the show.

 

Definitely agree. The camera effects only make it creepier. And BOB's tongue all over the place, it's truly horrific. Lynch is the best at personifying evil.

 

I'm on episode 3 of season 2. this show is just fascinating to me haha. it's so goofy and bonkers early on, and as the mystery evolves it gets weirder and creepier. I feel like all the elements of this show shouldn't work, but they do and I can't get enough of it haha

 

Yea the first season and the first third or so of season 2 are incredible. As well as the finale. It is still good in the second season but goes off the rails a little bit. Still really excited for the new season. I am definitely afraid it is going to suck, only because I find Lynch to be so volatile. It could literally go either way and I wouldnt be surprised

 

It's up there with the apartment shot during the climax of Blue Velvet.

 

I'm nearly ending my re-watch but Gordon Cole's first time seeing Shelly Johnson is amazing and on top of that the Cooper penguin joke with Annie is just making me all giddy. That scene was gold.

 

also imo that James subplot with Evelyn was kinda sluggish to watch. I got bored of it super quickly.

 

I left my copy of Secret History at my house while I was away at school, so when I get home on Tuesday it's going to be the first thing I pick up. Going to start from scratch and dive on in

 

Just spoke to my tattoo artist about getting something Twin Peaks inspired done. I really should not be spending money but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I'm on the last episode of the re-watch and I'm ready to start Fire Walk With Me and The Missing Pieces after.

 

God I'm so ready for Laura Dern

 

did they really wait 25 years to bring this show back all because of that last line

also I forgot that line even happened in this episode

 

I would imagine it was a coincidence, but it would be hilarious if they did that.

 

Actually, in reading the interview they did with Lynch in Variety, he mentioned sitting down with Frost over dinner to basically be like "alright, we're coming close to the 25 year point - we doing this or what?" haha

 

I'm really debating getting the Twin Peaks DVD set.

It's ether that or just rent Fire Walk With Me on my Xbox One and try to find the Missing Pieces on YouTube.

 

Just ordered the bluray box-set on Prime cause I'm weak. Free same day shipping I mean, come on!!!

 

I got the blu ray box for Christmas and I love it so much

Been blowing through my rewatch, a little over halfway through. Gonna try and finish it up the rest of the week/this weekend, then FWWM/Missing Pieces and Secret History sometime next week. Getting reaaaaally excited, so close!

That's a lot to tackle! I really want to read Secret History before this airs but because of finals, I doubt that'll happen. MIght get around to FWWM and Missing Pieces though
