Just ordered myself a Twin Peaks themed poetry anthology. Looks fire af from what I read. check it out if you're intrigued. These Poems Are Not What They Seem | APEP Publications
It is less experimental and more focused on plot. It is a really good show, and it ends on a really high note.
Watched Lost Highway for the first time last night. It was actually surprisingly subdued from what I expected, at least in terms of its ambiguity. I really loved it. Truly felt like a bridge in terms of Lynch’s older and newer styles.
Inland Empire is my favorite film. It will make no sense until you watch it more than once and read some blogs. Then it all clicks.
Rewatching this but with a friend who has never seen it, and I forgot so much of the order of how things happen. The first season only barely touches on the supernatural lore compared to s2 and the movie. And Gordon Cole doesn’t appear in person until right before Laura’s killer is revealed
I think the craziest thing is how Dale Cooper doesn't even appear until like 45 minutes into the pilot lol
I watched Inland Empire once and struggled very hard with it to the extent I don’t even know if I care what it’s about.
Inland Empire is one of the best movies ever made. You just got to know going in how difficult it is to get through.
